Singer, Raoul Nkeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has spoken about the joy he derives from the love and support of his fans.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, the artiste said, “I enjoy doing what I love and have passion for—making music. It truly makes me happy to see people show me love.”
The artiste who recently released a hit single noted that the music is aimed at uplifting spirits. “I just wanted to make music that makes people happy and lift up their spirit.”
Reflecting on a recent experience at the airport, where his flight was abruptly cancelled due to the pilot’s illness, Skales conveyed his disappointment stating, “I felt disappointed just like everybody else. I had business to attend to so, it made me feel disappointed that I wasn’t cared for as a customer. That is the same thing that everyone else faces with some Nigerian brands. Their customer service is horrible, and they are reluctant to live up to their responsibilities.”
When asked about aspects of his life that fans might not know about, he revealed, “I am a vegetarian and the only child of my parents.”
As for his fashion choices, Skales emphasised comfort and self-expression. “I wear anything that makes me feel nice and free,” he said.
