Nigerian skit maker and activist Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has voiced his frustration over the poor condition of Lagos roads.
In a post on X .com on Monday addressed directly to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mr Macaroni questioned the Lagos governor’s priorities.
He wrote, “Hello Mr Governor #jidesanwoolu, One of these days when you are not too busy with the very serious task of going to the Airport in Abuja to welcome Mr President from an International trip, kindly take a drive around Lagos roads and let us know why the government continues to risk the lives of Lagosians.
“There are potholes on the roads causing accidents that are capable of destroying lives and properties. Do better?”
This isn’t the first time Mr. Macaroni has openly criticised Governor Sanwo-Olu.
He previously rejected the governor’s “walk of peace” initiative in November 2021, after being invited, along with other prominent #EndSARS activists, to join the governor in a peace walk following the 2020 protests.
