The Oyo State Police Command announced on Friday the arrest of Muyideen Raimi for exhuming and decapitating his late cousin, Sulaiman Aromokun. Raimi, who allegedly committed the act with an accomplice now at large, exhumed his cousin’s corpse from the Aromokun compound in Isale Ijebu, Ibadan. Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has directed the State Civil Service Commission to ensure that no Information and Communications Technology staff in the State Civil Service is promoted without obtaining certification from the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria. The people of Issele-Azagba in Delta State are calling on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to intervene in a land dispute, fearing it could escalate into violence similar to the Okuama incident.
